Dance Classes for Arvada Families

JC Dance & Company is a dance studio in Wheat Ridge, and a lot of our families drive in from Arvada. The studio sits near 44th and Wadsworth, about ten minutes from most of Arvada, which makes it an easy weeknight trip. We are not an Arvada studio. We are the Wheat Ridge studio that plenty of Arvada families have made their regular one.

Ten minutes down Wadsworth

Wadsworth Boulevard connects the two, so the drive is about as simple as it gets. From Olde Town Arvada you reach 44th Avenue in under ten minutes. From the neighborhoods along Ralston Road, or up near the Apex Center and Lake Arvada, Wadsworth is still the straight shot south. On the west side, out toward Ward Road, Candelas, or the northern edges near Standley Lake, families drop down Kipling Street or take I-70 for a stop or two, and it is still about fifteen minutes. There is parking right at the studio, so pickup after class is quick.

Classes from age two to adult

Because we teach every age, an Arvada family can start a two-year-old in a Saturday creative movement class and, a few years on, have a teen in poms and dance team prep, all at the same studio. In between there is ballet, hip hop, and jazz, tap, and contemporary for the school-age years, adult classes in the evening, and camps and birthday parties to fill the breaks. Since Arvada is close, none of it asks for much beyond the class itself.

Weeknights are easy when you are close

Ten minutes each way means an Arvada family can do a 4:00 or 5:00 class after school and still be home for dinner. If you would rather keep weekdays clear, the Saturday morning block puts three classes in one visit: Tutu Tots at 9:00, Mini Stars Tap & Ballet at 9:45, and Youth Hip Hop & Tumble at 10:30. Parents with a toddler often take the quieter Tuesday or Wednesday morning preschool classes. The full weekly schedule shows every option.
